Works for two mining companies are being completed in the workshops of JSC TYAZHMASH

October 2, 2019

In September, at the production sites of JSC TYAZHMASH the manufacturing of mill drums intended for renewal of technical capacities of two mining companies reached the final stage.

Mechanical processing of the main assembly units of two MSHR 3200×3800 ball mills for CJSC Agarak Copper and Molybdenum combine in Armenia is being in full swing today. According to the contract with the GeoProMining international group of companies, Syzran company is to supply this equipment within the framework of re-equipment of the combine. The controlled assembly of the mills is scheduled for next month. The products will be shipped fully equipped with electrical equipment and an automated control system.

Manufacturing of MMS 70×23 mill drum housing is also nearing completion. It is intended for overhaul of one of the machines at the processing plant of JSC Mnogovershinnoe in Khabarovsk Krai. The new seven-meter diameter drum is completely identical to a worn-out unit in its parameters. The walls of the drum were assembled in the electroslag welding section, and then fifty meters of the weld were checked using a high-precision ultrasonic inspection method. After the control assembly stage, the drum was handed over to the final mechanical treatment.
