Hydraulic shock absorbers are designed for movement restriction of the equipment and pipelines of the first and second loops of nuclear power plants at the influence of seismic and emergency dynamic loads on them.

Hydraulic shock absorbers provide normal functioning of the nuclear power plant equipment at the seismic action up to maximum estimated earthquake force 9 according to MSK-64 scale at the ground level. PJSC “TYAZHMASH” is the only domestic manufacturer of hydraulic shock absorbers. At this time the complete reconstruction of nuclear power plants and construction of the new objects is carried out in Russia.
