Roll crushers are designed for crushing coke and coal of different brands with strength up to 18 units on Protodyakonov scale as well as for crushing of manganese ores, rocks and other minerals with strength up to 12 units. The crushers consist of 2 parallel plain ridged or toothed rolls of the same size rotating towards each other. The material being crushed is continuously fed through the charging chute to the crusher from above and is drawn by the rotating rollers in the space between them for crushing.

Toothed-roll crushers DDZE 9x9 and roll crushers DG 1000x550 have mechanical spring type compression or rollers, other standard sizes of roll crushers are equipped with hydraulic compression of rollers. Two roll toothed crusher DDZE 9x9 is designed for crushing of coke and coal of different brands. Two-rolled crusher with plain rolls DG 1000x550 is designed for crushing of materials with strength up to 18 units on Protodyakonov scale.

Two-rolled crushers with plain rolls DG 1000x600, DG 1000x900 and with ribbed rollers DR 1000x600, DR 1000x900 are designed for crushing of manganese ores, rocks and other minerals with strength up to 12 units on Protodyakonov scale.
