Hydraulic turbines for medium and large hydraulic power plants

JSC «TYAZHMASH – HYDRO» separated from JSC «TYAZHMASH» on November, 1st, 2008, becoming an affiliated company, which was renamed in Joint Stock Company «SYZRAN HYDROTURBINE PLANT» in 2010. The Company became the high-grade successor of hydraulic turbines production of PJSC «TYAZHMASH», which was founded in 1957.
JSC «SHTP» is one of the largest suppliers of hydraulic turbines and auxiliary equipment in Russia and CIS countries. For the last 50 years, more than one hundred of large and small hydraulic turbines have been designed and manufactured for Russian and foreign hydro power plants by companies of GC «TYAZHMASH».
Among the turbines manufactured by GC «TYAZHMASH» there are many unique units. Hydraulic turbines of Cheboksarskaya HPP have runners with diameters 10m and hydraulic turbines of Saratovskaya HPP have runners with diameters 10,3 m. Hydraulic turbines of Kurejskaya HPP are equipped with Francis runners 5.1 m in diameter. The unique Kaplan runners, working under 80 m head, have been designed and manufactured during the updating of hydraulic turbines of Serebrjanskaya HPP.
Hydraulic turbines for Ust-Khantaiskaya HPP, Kurejskaya HPP, Serebrjanskaya HPP, Teriberskaya HPP are performed in northern variant. The turbine for Nizhne-Teriberskaya HPP is manufactured with usage of the materials, resistant to marine water.
The usage of modern scientific achievements, new materials, high technologies and engineering solutions guarantee the global technical level of Syzran hydraulic turbines.

JSC «SHTP» has the full complex of engineering, technologic and manufacturing possibilities for «Kaplan» and «Francis» hydraulic turbines creation practically without dimensions and weight restrictions. Hydraulic turbines equipment is created taking into account the latest scientific and technical achievements traditionally having high-level of safety.
