Flicker devices with a cone valve are designed for use on vertical pulverized-coal ducts in continuous coal pulverization systems under separators at the return points and under cyclones as well as in ash collection and aspiration-systems under cyclones. The main function of flicker devices is pulverized coal or ash dumping as a continuous flow and separators and cyclones protection against suctions into the decreased pressure area.
